Whew!

So we’ve got LOTS OF NEWS.

1. We’re going on haitus to prepare for our next story, “Eastwood.” We’ll be back on August 7th! BUT WAIT! REASONS!

2. We’re organizing a sweet cartooning workshop featuring our good friend Mike Altman! If you’re in Indianapolis on Saturday, June 2nd and you want to learn advanced cartooning with one of the nicest, most talented teachers we know, sign up!

3. We’re putting together a book! It will contain “Shady Dealings” and an altered version of “Hot Coffee!”

4. We’re gonna sell that book at Derby City Comic Con on June 30th! We’ll be next to our cool friends Little Guardians, Queen Tangerine and Ron Braun! Come find us!

5. We’re gonna hit Kids Read Comics on July 7-8! Stay tuned for details!

6. We’re teaching a comics class at GenCon! Stay tuned to this post for details (I think we’re doing it on Friday, August 16 but I’ll confirm that once pre-registration goes live).

7. We’re going to edit art/switch around pages in “Hot Coffee.” Now that we’ve done our FIRST big story, we’ve realized there’s room for improvement. SO, you won’t be entirely without comics all summer. We’ll let you know when we’ve done the complete update. PLUS… this edited version will be in the book we’re working on!

8. Throughout the summer, I’ll be updating the long-overdue about page! There will be pictures! And maps! And more pictures! And lots of talking! It’s sort of like mini-filler! DELICIOUS!!

This summer’s packed!  I hope you’ll find time to join us for some (or all!) of the fun things we have lined up!

This is a good start. Looking forward to year two.

I might post a zombie comic as filler. Yes. That will do nicely.

Ginger and I have a few pieces in the show, and I’ll actually be there. Last year was a lot of fun, so I expect it will be more of the same this year.

THE BAD NEWS Ginger continues to be overwhelmed by the day job. So there won’t be any TBG for the next four weeks while she tries to get that under control.

THE GOOD NEWS is that we have a pinch hitter. Dom and Bragea: The Final Blow is a short fantasy comic I created earlier this year. It will run Tuesdays AND Thursdays starting December 20 and will conclude January 12.  The Brothers Grant will return January 7.

I’ll also be posting updates to the TBG Process Blog. So no TBG, but more content than usual. Merry Christmas!
